My NICU Network-My Perinatal Network (MNN-MPN) is now live at www.myperinatalnetwork.org. Here you can find courses for perinatal clinicians on using trauma-informed care to support the mental health of pregnant women, new moms and their babies.
MNN-MPN is the result of a collaboration between the National Perinatal Association and the NICU Parent Network; the goal is to become the preeminent provider of compelling perinatal education on psychosocial support created through interprofessional collaboration.
We have programs for NICU teams and maternity care teams. It is our hope that entire staffs will take the courses at the same time, so as to transform the culture of the unit towards truly providing comprehensive family support. All courses are also available to individual providers, both RNs, MDs, NNPs, midwives, social workers, psychologists and other support staff.
